Introduction to PEEK Resin
Chemical name: Polyether ether ketone
Chemical structure: PEEK is a linear aromatic polymer material with ether and ketone bonds in its main chain. CAS: 29658-26-2
Appearance: Typically a translucent or opaque pale yellow or brown solid.
PEKK powder
You can apply PEKK powder to carbon fiber prepreg composite materials, high-end nonstick pot coatings, chemical and pharmaceutical anti-corrosion spraying, and 3D printing additive manufacturing. It also serves as a processing aid, such as an epoxy resin toughening agent and carbon fiber sizing agent, and is used in lithium battery films. 1. All sharp edges and burrs on the metal surface should be removed in order to avoid pin holes in the coating. | |
2. First degrease the metal part with a surface agent or heating, and then sandblast the metal surface with clean alumina sand. | |
3.The clean treated substrate must be heated to 320~350℃ for about 1 hour before first coating, to apply OSAT coatings evenly, flow out the coating at 320~350℃. The coating time should be limited to 10 mins for every layer. Powder coating must be stopped if there is white unmelted powder deposited on the surface, the oven temperature should never be below 320℃. | |
4. Repeat step 3 until the target thickness is reached, and then cool to room temperature. | |
5. Then, it is carried out for quality detection and finally put into storage for delivery. |

OSST-530
OSST-530 is a PTFE liquid coating specially modified by PEKK, which is particularly suitable for industrial high-temperature anti-corrosion, non stick and wear-resistant coating applications. It does not require any primer bonding and has a very strong bonding force with metal substrates. At the same time, its surface hardness is superior to ordinary PTFE coatings, with high surface hardness, wear and scratch resistance, and the coating is durable, high temperature resistant, and vacuum resistant. It is suitable for dry vacuum pumps and nonstick coatings on industrial appliances with temperatures not exceeding 180 ℃.
OSSP/WP-5100
OSSP/WP-5100 is a primer for ETFE powder coatings. As a transition layer between the metal substrate and ETFE coating, it can significantly improve the adhesion between ETFE and metal, allowing the ETFE coating to withstand extreme vacuum at its temperature tolerance. It is suitable for high temperature and heavy-duty anti-corrosion fields such as chemical and pharmaceutical equipment, electronic appliances, automotive machinery, aerospace, etc., where the temperature does not exceed 150 ℃.
OSSP/WP-5600/5601
OSSP/WP-5600/5601 is a primer for PFA powder coating, with WP-5600 and WP5601 corresponding to PFA thin coating and thick coating types, respectively. As a transition layer between the metal substrate and PFA coating, it can significantly improve the adhesion between PFA and metal, allowing PFA coating to withstand extreme vacuum at its withstand temperature. It is suitable for high temperature and heavy-duty anti-corrosion fields such as chemical and pharmaceutical equipment, electronic appliances, automotive machinery, aerospace, etc. with a temperature not exceeding 200 ℃.
